This is my second year teaching second grade at Richland Elementary and I love it! I have two sons that attend Richland in 1st and 3rd grade, and a step-daughter in 7th grade at Elmore Park Middle School. My husband is a technician and has a business downtown. We are very family oriented and spend most of our free time traveling the world or finding something fun to get in to.

I have always been an educator to all children around me including my own, it’s a calling from the heart that I am so happy to have listened to and followed. My dedication to positive, whole-child development goes further than the classroom into mentoring children through volunteer programs.  My hope and dream is to give our children a solid foundation to become socially, emotionally, and academically evolved in their thinking and doing.

If I had a day to myself, I'd enjoy it painting with acrylics while listening to music, or an Audible book, and drinking Earl Grey tea, Chai tea, or Coconut Chocolate Almond milk.
